An intimate wedding at Elmfield Park in Doncaster - Kasia & Sebastian
Here's a selection of images from my recent Elmfield park register office wedding. Kasia and Sebastian got married at the old Register Office in Doncaster and it was an intimate ceremony with a handful of close friends.
At their wedding, the couple were joined by their closest family members and friends in the old register office. They wanted an intimate ceremony and to celebrate their union with their loved ones. Their wedding ceremony was followed by a few photographs in Elmfield Park.
It actually was one of the last few wedding ceremonies held at the Elmfield Park venue before moving to Priory Place. It was also my last visit there as a photographer. It closed its doors just few days after this wedding. It felt like the end of an era as I photographed many weddings there.

After the ceremony we went to the nearby Elmfield Park to take some pictures of the couple. This is another place I visit quite often as a photographer. After a short couples shoot at Elmfield Park, they headed off to Worksop where the wedding party was being held.
The following day I met the couple at their post wedding photography shoot in Withernsea so be sure to check that gallery out as well.

Engagement Shoot in Sheffield City Centre
After an early morning engagement photos at Norfolk Heritage Park in Sheffield I took Kamila and Dorian to the city centre to explore some of the Steel City iconic locations. We wanted to catch the urban feel of the Steel City including some of it iconic buildings and murals into the photos.
Engagement photos in Sheffield City Centre
The part of Sheffield around The Peace Gardens, Millennium Square and The Winter Garden is ideal for this kind of vibe. Lots of dated and historical buildings around the city centre and artistic murals next to proudly emerging modern office buildings and blocks of apartments. This makes a beautiful backdrop for couples shoots as well as those planning a wedding in Sheffield.
I often come here with brides and grooms whenever we have a wedding nearby. You could have seen this Victoria Hall Methodist Church wedding on my blog where I took Nicola and Jeremy for a short walk here after their ceremony. It's also perfect for those couples getting married at Sheffield Town Hall.
Please scroll down and enjoy. I hope you like this urban engagement shoot.

Cheryl & Dean's hunting themed wedding Derbyshire
Cheryl and Dean’s choice to have a hunting themed wedding was quite obvious considering Dean’s love to hunting. Ashover, a small village in Derbyshire is a quite small community and this Derbyshire wedding was quite an event.
As a photographer, I am familiar with this side of the Peak District and the local area. The morning started at the bride's home in Chesterfield, where she was getting ready together with her bridesmaids. The atmosphere was very relaxed and fun, everybody was enjoying the moment.
Then I moved to Ashover and the local pub, The Black Swan. Accompanied by a group of close friends, Dean was enjoying his last pint as a bachelor when I joined him before we all walked to the church. Cheryl arrived in a white vintage BMW and walked by her dad joined Dean down the aisle.
Derbyshire Wedding
The ceremony took place in the beautiful All Saints Church in Ashover, Derbyshire, which is a magnificent place to hold a wedding. From a photographer’s point of view, it’s also a great place to photograph the wedding as the natural light streams in through the upper windows.
Most of wedding décor including the shotgun shell boutonnieres were handmade for this occasion and obviously venison was on the menu that day! Congratulations to Cheryl and Dean and thank you for inviting me to this special day!
Cheryl and Dean’s hunting themed wedding in Derbyshire
Everything at this hunting themed wedding was thought out beautifully, every element just worked perfectly together and not only complimented each other, but the simply stunning couple as well.
We didn't get to visit the Ashover Rock not to mention taking the couple for the Peak District couples shoot but the local field behind the paris hall and the Ashover Cricket Club grounds did the job!
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you liked the gallery and if you do then feel free to leave a comment below. It will be greatly appreciated.

Engagement photos at Norfolk Heritage Park in Sheffield
I have not posted an engagement photography session on my blog in a little while as have been busy photographing and editing weddings but could not help blogging this one engagement shoot at Norfolk Heritage Park in Sheffield.
It was still dark (and cold!) when we got to Norfolk Heritage Park but it was well worth it. After walking through the darkness to get to the other end of the park we witnessed first rays of the rising sun hitting the city centre's buildings, It was just awesome and we were pretty chuffed as we wanted to get some of these sunrise photos with Sheffield's skyline in the background.
As I mentioned before it was cold and not all of us had a jacket but somehow we did have a blanket on us and we did use it during the session. It came very handy indeed.

Clumber Park wedding photography - Paulina and Tom
Before this Clumber Park wedding shoot, Paulina & Tom had a gorgeous wedding in Zakopane, a beautiful resort town just at the base of the Tatras Mountains in Southern Poland. I’ve no pictures from their big day to show you unfortunately but looking at the pictures from their destination wedding photographer in Poland I can tell you it was beautiful!
Upon their return to the UK however the couple felt like having some more wedding pictures taken a little closer to where they live and here we are!
Clumber Park wedding photography
Clumber Park, a place that the couple often visit with their dogs seemed an excellent pace for this post wedding session. It’s a beautiful country park just outside Worksop and easy accessible for couples even from Doncaster and Sheffield.
To make sure we get the best lighting possible and to avoid traffic we went there first thing in the morning and when I say ‘first thing’ I mean it! We went and had a photo session at sunrise but it was quite busy there anyway so I ended up cloning few cars out. I hope you like it 🙂
