It was the love to 4x4s that put these two in the same room. James was under an old Land Rover fitting an override when he looked up and saw Kristy for the first time then a few miles and flat tyres later these two married at St John the Baptist’s church in Misson.
That sunny day of August when the church bells rang for Kristy and James’s wedding the people of this little village in Nottinghamshire saw their local church dressed with beautiful wedding flower arrangements by Tom Wood Florists and packed with a crowd of wedding guests, some coming from as far as Wales or even Romania!
The classic Jaguar 3.4S took Kristy to the St John the Baptist’s church down the road where James was waiting and after an emotional ceremony everyone went to the nearby White Horse Inn. Oh and by the way, when I say everyone I mean everyone as it felt like the whole village turned up to congratulate Kristy and James! Luckily the pub with its spacious wedding marquee set up in the yard was able to accommodate all the guests. It was a perfect day!
Congratulations to Kristy and James!
