RELAXED, NATURAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Wedding Photography That Feels Like You

Your wedding should feel like a celebration, not one long photoshoot. I’ll capture the laughter, happy tears and wonderfully unplanned moments naturally, while giving you just enough direction to feel comfortable when the camera turns your way.

THE PHOTOGRAPHS

The Whole Story, Not Just the Posed Bits

Your wedding photographs should bring back more than how everything looked. They should remind you how it felt—the nervous excitement, your guests trying not to cry, the hugs nobody planned and the dance-floor decisions that seemed perfectly sensible at the time.

I’ll photograph the important moments, but I’ll also keep an eye on everything happening around them. Together, those images create an honest record of the people, atmosphere and wonderfully unpredictable bits that made the celebration yours.

More Time Celebrating. Less Time Posing.

Enjoy Your Wedding

You invited your favourite people for a reason. You deserve to spend the day laughing, talking, eating and celebrating with them—not disappearing for a two-hour photoshoot while everyone wonders where you have gone.

We’ll make time for beautiful portraits without letting photography take over the day.

Feel Comfortable

You do not need to practise poses or suddenly develop a second career as a fashion model. I’ll give you simple, gentle guidance whenever it helps, then leave enough space for you to relax and be yourselves.

See What You Missed

While you are greeting one guest, someone else is laughing across the room, wiping away a tear or doing something questionable near the dessert table. I’ll watch for those reactions and quieter stories too.

KIND WORDS

For Couples Who Usually Avoid the Camera

You do not need to feel naturally confident in front of the camera. You only need someone who knows when to offer a little help and when to step back and let the moment breathe.

BEHIND THE CAMERA

Hi, I’m Michal

I’ll be the person quietly photographing the nerves, laughter and unexpected little moments while helping things along whenever you need me. You will not find me barking orders or turning your wedding into a production. I prefer to fit into the rhythm of the day, get to know the people around you and make the photography feel like a natural part of the celebration.

When a little direction will make a photograph better, I’ll give it. When the timetable wanders off course—as wedding timetables often do—I’ll stay calm and work with what is happening. Most importantly, I want you to enjoy the day without constantly wondering where the camera is.

From First Message to Wedding Day

01

Tell Me Your Plans

Send me your date, venue and a little about the celebration you are organising. Formal, informal, countryside, city centre or somewhere halfway up a Scottish hill—I’m happy to hear about it.

02

Choose Your Coverage

If I am available, I’ll send the relevant information and we can talk through the plans. I’ll help you choose coverage that fits the wedding rather than squeezing the day into the wrong package.

03

Enjoy the Wedding

Once everything is arranged, you can concentrate on celebrating. I’ll arrive prepared, keep things relaxed and photograph the story without turning your wedding into a production.

PACKAGES

Coverage That Fits Your Plans

Some weddings need a few carefully chosen hours. Others begin with preparations and continue until the dance floor is in full swing.

You can choose five-hour coverage, full-day photography or a full-day option with two photographers. Start by looking through the packages, then tell me what you are planning and we can find the right fit.

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering

What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

You are in very good company. Most couples tell me they are not used to being photographed. I’ll keep things simple, offer a little guidance when it helps and avoid stiff positions that feel nothing like you.

How much direction will you give us?

Enough to help you feel comfortable, but never so much that the wedding starts feeling staged. During portraits, I may suggest where to stand, walk or look. For most of the day, I’ll let events unfold naturally.

Do you take family group photographs?

Absolutely. We can plan a concise list before the wedding. Keeping it manageable means you get the photographs that matter without spending the entire drinks reception assembling increasingly elusive relatives.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. I photograph weddings throughout Yorkshire, Scotland and the wider UK. Tell me where you are getting married when you enquire and I’ll confirm everything you need to know.

What happens if it rains?

We work with it. Rain can create beautiful light and atmosphere. I’ll check the forecast, look for suitable indoor options and make the most of any dry gaps. Umbrellas and a sense of humour also go a long way.

How far in advance should we book?

Popular dates can be reserved well ahead of time, but availability varies throughout the year. The easiest way to find out is to send me your date. There is no pressure if you are still comparing options or working through the early planning stages.

Tell Me What You’re Planning

Send me your wedding date, venue and a little about the celebration you have in mind. Tell me what you are most excited about—and whether being photographed currently fills you with joy, dread or something in between. I’ll confirm availability and help you work out which coverage fits your plans.
