Corah and Luke's wedding at Norton Common Farm in Doncaster
Many congratulations to Corah and Luke, newly married in glorious South Yorkshire. And weren’t we lucky with the weather, considering it was a marquee reception! The sun shone, the guests enjoyed the day, and the bride looked amazing.
Norton Common Farm Wedding
It was a busy Saturday morning in a village of Toll Bar in South Yorkshire. Corah’s place was buzzing as everyone was getting ready for the big day. Hair, dresses, shoes, flowers and hugs.
After getting all the getting ready and detail photos I went to the nearby St Philip & St James Church in Bentley where Luke was already waiting for his wife to be to arrive.
Corah made sure Luke had a good wait before he saw her walking down the aisle but that gave me some extra time to get enough images of Luke enjoying last few moments of his bachelorship.
After a delightful church wedding service everyone headed to Norton Common Farm to celebrate with the newlyweds.
The reception was held in a private farm, amidst gorgeous open views, as you can see from their couple’s shots, a few of which are shown below. The farm looked amazing on the day of Corah and Luke’s wedding. It had a marquee with a cool dancefloor, plenty of open views at the back, old barn, horses and even stacks of hay. What an awesome place it is! Well done to Sarah and Graham for converting the place into a fantastic reception venue.

Corah and Luke went for a combination of documentary wedding photography, combined with some couple’s shots. They were both keen to keep the feel of their couple’s images very fresh, natural and true to themselves, and as they laughed through the entire shoot, it looks like they enjoyed the experience!
I’m delighted to have been Corah and Luke’s photographer for the day – it was a beautiful wedding to document and I hope this shows through in the images below.

Mount Pleasant Hotel wedding photography - Laura and Adrian
Last month I was privileged to photograph Laura and Adrian’s wedding at St Wilfrid Church in Doncaster. This built in the 11th century church saw Laura and Adrian tying the knot in the presence of their close family and friends. After a touching wedding ceremony and some compulsory confetti and group shots we all went to the stunning Best Western Premier Mount Pleasant Hotel where the wedding celebrations started!

Mount Pleasant Hotel wedding - Nichola & Rob
Nichola and Robert married at The Best Western Premier Mount Pleasant Hotel in Doncaster. It was a beautiful and sunny day in South Yorkshire and and there was just no other option but to have an outdoor ceremony! The four star hotel based on Bawtry Road just outside of Doncaster (one of the most popular and well known venues in Doncaster) provided an excellent backdrop for their wedding photos throughout the day from bridal preparations, through beautiful wedding ceremony to wedding reception and family pictures in the gardens.

Wedding visit to Brewers Fayre Cheswold Lodge
Later on in the afternoon I followed the couple to the Cheswold Lodge in Lakeside. This was where Nichola and Robert first met and they couldn’t help spontaneously nipping out for a pint on their wedding day. The newlyweds received a very warm welcome and a complimentary bottle of champagne from the manager!

The Parsonage Hotel wedding in York - Brenda & Don
What a wonderful and relaxed day it was at The Parsonage Hotel in Escrick near York! Thanks to Brenda and Don for inviting me to their English American wedding as not only two families came together that day but also two countries!
The Paronage Hotel Wedding
The English American couple first met at Betty’s Tea Rooms in York over 2 years ago and fast forward 10 months Don proposed to Brenda during their holiday trip to Sicily (wait for the next part!) when dining at a romantic vineyard estate! (I know, I know… sorry girls, he’s taken now!)
They really like to travel and they DO travel a lot. Having been to 8 countries since they first met, the couple decided to name their wedding tables after places they visited together. England, USA, Canada, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Sweden and Russia were the names of the 8 wedding tables at The Parsonage Hotel and if that is not enough there was also a vibrant Irish dance group performance on the night! A truly international wedding! It was a real pleasure to join these beautiful celebrations as their photographer.

Intimate wedding in Doncaster - Paul & Donni
I am so lucky. As a photographer I get to work with couples from around Europe. Donni and Paul first met some years ago in Bulgaria. After a few years of working together in the Balkan property industry the couple decided to move to Doncaster where they now settled and got married!
It was an intimate wedding with a handful of close friends and family members with some coming from as far as Bulgaria!
Can you guess where these two would go for their honeymoon?
An intimate wedding in Doncaster
I love shooting intimate weddings. The ones where only a small number of close friends and family members are involved. No rushing around with my camera, no posing stiffly, just hanging out and creating photo memories. Is that what you’re looking for? The size of the wedding doesn't matter, though. When it is your own wedding, it just feels like it should be perfect no matter how many people are present.
Wedding portraits in the park
To make their day even more memorable, we went to Elmfield Park for some romantic photographs taken by the fountain and with the willow trees. They were so wrapped up in each other's arms that I didn't have to ask them to pose, just kept shooting.
Despite being an intimate affair with only family and close friends in attendance, all of whom they love dearly, it is clear they had an unforgettable wedding in Doncaster. They couldn't have been happier that day. The day was incredibly special for them and it was about celebrating their love together.

Dionne & Stewart - Epworth wedding photography
One beautiful May day in a small town of Epworth in North Lincolnshire a group of close friends and family members gathered at a local church for the wedding of Dionne and Stewart.
That day the people of this historic town in the Isle of Axholme saw Dionne and Stewart exchanging their vows at the local Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.
Dionne arrived at the church in a classic 1950’s Rolls Royce and walked down the aisle to join Stewart that had been waiting there with his best man. After a beautiful and relaxed wedding ceremony the newly married couple signed the marriage register before leaving the church escorted by the cute Casey.
Outside the church the newlyweds were welcomed with handfuls of colourful confetti and after a series of family and group photos everyone went to The Red Lion where the wedding party began!
